Targeted relief for the patellar tendon
Bauerfeind GenuPoint is a medical support brace that relieves and stabilizes the patellar tendon. According to the instructions for use, it is used for irritation in the area around the patellar tendon: patellofemoral pain syndrome, chondropathia patellae, and patellar tendinopathy, also known as jumper's knee.
Four pressure points under the kneecap
The strap sits directly below the kneecap and can be individually positioned over the area where the pain is most severe. The pad on the front has four pressure points with knobs: the inner ones guide the tendon, while the outer ones intensify the perception of stimuli in the surrounding area. According to Bauerfeind, the combination of pressure and massage provides noticeable relief for the patellar tendon and improves muscle function.
The hook-and-loop strap is adjusted on both sides. This keeps the strap from slipping and allows it to move with the knee as it bends.
Slim and comfortable
The Train knit lies close against the leg and is soft to wear. The strap is so slim that freedom of movement is fully preserved.
Material composition according to the manufacturer: polyamide (PA), silicone (SI), polyurethane (PU), cotton (CO), polyoxymethylene (POM), polyester (PES), elastane (EL), and acrylic resin dispersion.
Sizes and colors
GenuPoint is available in Titanium and Black and in three sizes. Choose the size according to the circumference using the size guide:
- Size 1: 28–30 cm
- Size 2: 30–35 cm
- Size 3: 35–44 cm

How to put on the strap
GenuPoint fits both the right and left knee. Loosen both hook-and-loop straps and open one side completely. Position the strap with the semicircular cutout facing upward toward the kneecap and thread the hook-and-loop strap back through. Fasten both strap ends simultaneously and with equal tightness so that the strap does not move, and make sure it sits level with the patellar tendon. Adjust the pressure yourself - it must not feel uncomfortable.
Care
Close the hook-and-loop straps on both sides before washing to prevent damage to the product. Wash at 30 °C and follow the care instructions on the sewn-in label. Regular care preserves its effectiveness.
