Support for complex knee conditions
Bauerfeind GenuTrain A3 is a medical support brace that activates and stabilizes the knee in cases of complex knee conditions, such as knee osteoarthritis. According to the instructions for use, it is used for osteoarthritis and arthritis of the knee, chronic irritation and irritation following an injury or surgery, disorders of the tendons and muscle attachments and lax ligaments, knee pain resulting from functional instability caused by muscular imbalances, recurrent joint effusion, displacement of the kneecap, and for preventive purposes.
For osteoarthritis, Bauerfeind states that it is important both to manage the pain and keep the knee moving in order to slow the progression of the condition. According to Bauerfeind, the GenuTrain A3 has proven to be a valuable aid thanks to targeted support and relief.
Star-shaped pad and alternating compression
As you move, the support provides alternating compression that helps reduce swelling. The star-shaped pad stimulates the muscles that stabilize the joint and massages typical pain areas on the inside of the knee. The pad is flexible, and integrated grooves keep it securely in place even when the knee is bent.
Silicone dots on the inside of the upper edge keep the support in place during everyday activities and exercise.
Material and comfort
According to Bauerfeind, the Train knit provides medically effective compression and high breathability. Elastic zones around the back of the knee and calf provide freedom of movement and long-lasting comfort, while the soft edges are also suitable for people who are sensitive to pressure.
Material composition according to the manufacturer: silicone (SI), polyamide (PA), thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), elastane (EL), cotton (CO), thermoplastic elastomer (TPS-SEBS), polyurethane (PUR), and polyester (PES).
How to choose your size
The GenuTrain A3 is available in Titan, Black, and Beige, in seven sizes and in separate models for the right and left knee. Measure while standing with your knee bent at 30 degrees: the upper circumference 14 cm above the knee and the lower circumference where the leg is narrowest below the knee.

Use
Grasp the upper ends of the stays on both sides - the donning aid with thumb supports - and pull the support over the knee joint so that the pad surrounds the kneecap without pressing on it. The support can only be used on the side for which it is intended, and the long side of the pad should lie on the inside of the knee. Do not use donning aids intended for other products, as this may damage the silicone. Remove the support by pulling its lower part at the stays.
Care
Wash with mild detergent in a laundry bag, follow the information on the sewn-in label, and do not expose the support to direct heat or cold. Regular care preserves its effectiveness.
In the package
One (1) knee support for the selected side, in the selected size and color.
