Oxygen saturation and pulse via your fingertip
The Braun Pulse Oximeter 1 is a compact pulse oximeter for simple, non-invasive measurement on the fingertip. It displays blood oxygen saturation (%SpO₂), pulse and pulse amplitude, so you can quickly read the values on the screen.
The lightweight finger clip makes the device easy to use: place your finger in the device and start it with the button. The results are displayed on a clear, backlit OLED display whose viewing direction can be changed, making the values easier to read from different angles.
What does it measure?
The pulse oximeter measures oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and pulse and also displays pulse amplitude. Braun describes blood oxygen levels as an important indicator of respiratory health.
Small and easy to use
The finger clip provides a quick, non-invasive measurement without complicated settings, and the compact format makes the pulse oximeter easy to store and take with you.
Braun states that the model is intended for adults over 18 and mentions, among others, users who monitor their oxygen levels and athletes who want to keep track of their values.
Clear OLED display
The backlit display shows the measurement values in large numbers, and the viewing direction can be rotated so that the result can be read from different directions.
How to measure
Open the finger clip and insert your finger fully into the device according to the instructions for use. Keep your hand and finger still during the measurement, then read the SpO₂ and pulse on the display.
For a reliable reading, the finger should be clean and have sufficient blood circulation. Movement, cold hands, poor peripheral circulation, as well as nail polish or artificial nails, can affect the result. The same precautions are also stated in Braun's instructions for the pulse oximeter.
